Text Box: The six bells of the ancient church of St John the Baptist, Little Missenden in Buckinghamshire were rededicated by the Bishop of Buckingham, assisted by the vicar Fr John Simpson, and Tower Captain Barry Cowper, on the eve of the Feast of St Dunstan, Patron Saint of Bellringers, on Monday 18th May. You can watch a rather unique recording of the live video from Monday evening of the blessing, and the ringing which followed, below. The bells were cast in 1340, 1445, 1603, 1663, 1881, and 1948.
